TEAM #3 HERCULES
HERCULES
Hercules is the thirty-fifth full-length animated
feature film in the Disney Animated Canon, and the eighth entry of the Disney
Renaissance. It is produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by
Walt Disney Pictures on June 27, 1997. As the thirty-fifth animated feature in
the Disney animated features canon, the film was directed by Ron Clements and
John Musker. The movie is an American fantasy tale very loosely based on
Ancient Greco-Roman mythology, more specifically the adventures of Heracles known
in the movie by his Roman name, Hercules, the son of Zeus.
The film begins with the five muses "Goddesses of
the arts and pro-claimers of heroes" telling the story of how Zeus came to
power and prevented the monstrous Titans from ruling the world. This leads to
the day Hercules is born to Zeus and Hera, much to the pleasure of the other
gods except Hades, who receives word from the Fates that Hercules will one day
rise to power and prevent him from taking control of the world.
Hercules was the adored son of gods Zeus and Hera,
stolen by Hades, ruler of the underworld, and made mortal. He must become a
true hero to become a god again so he can live with his parents on Mount
Olympus. Hercules has to find a grouchy satyr named Filoectes, who trains him
in fighting techniques and strategy, he is also one of bestfriends of Hercules.
When Hercules saves some children and defeats the hydra a monster of many
heads, he becomes an instant celebrity, with action figures. He goes on to his
other labors but he finds out that it's not enough to be a real hero
because that comes from the heart, not
the muscles. Meanwhile, Meg who sold her
soul to Hades to save the life of her boyfriend, must now try to find Hercules'
weakness so that Hades can take over Olympus.
Hercules has an interesting starting point, but it
lacks a more elaborate humor in its place, which, for us to like more, is
somewhat conventional, the viewer observes images that take time to make him
vibrate, to feel the fullness of a story that only gets excited in his final
half hour. However "Hercules" has some luxury villains, with a
personality of its own that moves away from what has already been seen in other
Disney titles. Thus, Hades is not as terrifying as others and with a body of
fire that captures the attention of the public
and also , he was introduced to us by some really nice minions and, by a
fatal woman named Meg who possesses a character much stronger than Hades
himself. Regarding the aesthetics of "Hercules", it has little to do
with Disney's previous productions. This undoubtedly contributes to the work of
cartoonist and illustrator Gerald Scarfe. Either way, it is a different style,
which does not mean it is bad.
I recommend to watch this movie because it have a lot of
greek history and is so interesting. The
history of Hercules catches your attention from beginning to the end because
you can feel the entusiasm of him to get reunited with his father Zeus in the
Olimpo and his corage for all the things that he have to pass get what he want.
Other point that I love of this movie and I think that all person who watchs
the movie will think, is that the music is awesome , the liyrics and sound are
complety amazings.
This movie is very funny and it talks about greek mithology in a funny scenes, in my personal opinion, I think it is a way for educating children in our days. When this movie was released I was about 1 year old, and every day I watch the movie.
ResponderBorrarThis Disney movie in particular is very interesting because it teaches us about Greek history, especially about the gods. The main character is Hercules, he is the son of Zeus the god who rules Olympus, he was kidnapped as a child and they tried to kill him, but he grew with great strength to defeat many monsters and destroy Hades' plans. I did not see this movie many times but whenever I saw it I learned something new.
